Dear Members and Friends of Faith Church,
While there is a great deal of information circulating about the Corona Virus, some good-some not, and a good many questions about Church tomorrow and in the future, I want to take a minute to address these concerns and clarify what we will be doing in the days ahead, God willing.
It seems imperative to me that especially in times of calamity, public peril, and unrest, that the most important thing we can do is to call upon God in worship and in prayer. After all, we are ever in His hands, and look to Him for our protection and deliverance.
To that end, Faith Church will be meeting tomorrow morning for Sunday School at 9:15, followed by our Divine Worship and Holy Communion at 10AM. If you are already sick, have a fever, young children, or are elderly, or have any misgivings about joining us, that is perfectly understandable. But we will be gathering for prayer and worship, beseeching God to deliver us always, as well as for all those for whom we pray.
Even if you cannot join us tomorrow, be assured of our prayers for all our Brothers and Sisters, and our entire community. If you are not a regular attender at Faith, please know that we have a place for you here. If you desire to come and pray with us, please know you will always be warmly welcomed. God bless you in.
